Jivko Gadjourov
CEO

In the Autumn of 2012 Jivko took what started off as just an idea, and with the help of a group of professional friends, founded GBC. Since then, he has worked relentlessly to build and grow the business and with all the hard work and dedication that has gone in, it has thrived.

With a strong analytical mind and armed with many years experience in the conference business, Jivko is the driving force behind the success of the company.  His marketing background and commercial vision allows him to create events which are second to none, customer-driven and fun to attend, which is why people come back to them year on year.

Jivko has a degree in economics and masters in marketing.

His energy, passion and unwavering positivity is infectious which makes him a pleasure to be around, both in and outside the office. No task is too big and he sees every challenge as an opportunity to grow.

Naturally gifted in almost every sport that involves a ball, he’s fairly certain that if he hadn’t gone into marketing, he would have become an Olympic gold medalist by now… Team GB, you’ve missed out!

Evnika Polovinkina
Managing Director

Having initially co-founded GBC, Evnika passionately believes in creating communities where peers share business ideas, get exclusive information and most importantly meet long-term partners.

Evnika has worked in the energy sector for more than 10 years bringing key stakeholders to and providing transformational insights at the senior-level events. She strongly believes that quality of content could be second to none, and makes sure her team produce exclusive and quality events year after year.

Prior to this position, Evnika has built and managed CIS oil and gas portfolio at Clarion Events launching and hosting successful large-scale conferences there for more than 7 years.

Evnika holds a BA in linguistics and cross-cultural communication.

When not busy launching new events, she is most probably reading a book, practising yoga or planning her next trip abroad.

Aurelia Lubenova
Financial Manager

Aurelia has been with GBC since the set-up of the company. In her current role she ensures that the financial side of the business is in order. Aurelia is also responsible for the smooth running of all GBC conferences on-site and is the prime contact for our numerous service providers.

She has graduated from the University of Economics, Varna, Bulgaria. Prior to this role, she worked for several major events companies as an onsite administrator and operations manager.

In her spare time, she is a passionate baker and folk dancer.

Artem Kim
Project Director

Artem started his career at GBC as a Research Analyst after graduating from London School of Commerce with a BSc in Business Administration. Over the following two years, having served in many roles since the early days of the company (as a Senior Research Analyst, Business Development Manager in CIS and Regional Representative in Kazakhstan), he has established and built key customer relationships with major oil and gas companies from Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan, including Rosneft, SIBUR, SOCAR, KazMunayGas.

In 2015, he moved back to London and was appointed Project Manager, overseeing and managing several events in the company’s portfolio and assuming responsibility for every aspect of the conference.

Artem believes that success is all about your enthusiasm,  zeal,  drive and  motivation. Among various areas of interest, from music to psychology, Artem is passionate about most sports, particularly boxing, although he is not so keen to share  with us his achievements in this arena.

Alice Sapcaliu
Conference Producer

Alice joined the GBC team as Assistant Conference Producer in April 2016, continuing to develop her passion for the energy sector.  She had previously worked as Trade Adviser for the British Embassy in Bucharest, helping British companies apply their expertise and innovation to key projects developed in Romania.

Events have always been a part of her life, from playing the piano in her childhood, up to the present day, where she enjoys organising platforms for decision-makers where business representatives can meet, discuss new strategies and develop new leads for their companies.

Alice has a BA degree in Business Administration, and a Master’s Degree in International Project Management.  Having recently moved to London, she is very keen to travel, meet people from all over the world and learn amazing new things every day.

Natalia Kravchenko
Senior Relations Manager

Since she joined the company in early 2014, she is responsible for delegate and sponsorship sales for the entire events portfolio. Natalia’s extensive sales experience ranges from oil & gas trainings and conferences to publishing and advertising.

Natalia has a BA in Romanic Languages and Literature and post-graduate diploma in Communication & PR from National School of Political Science and Public Administration (Bucharest, Romania). Along her passion for languages and literature, she enjoys spending time with her little son and playing badminton.

Relations Manager

Beata has joined GBC in spring of 2016 as a multilingual and open-minded sales person. She has lived in Lithuania, Poland, USA and hopefully will stay in the UK, and now she speaks 4 languages fluently, which is a great help for the company.

She is passionate about travelling and cultures. Being brave she has already explored such countries as Syria, Lebanon, slept in the desert in Morocco and has been in a cage with tigers in Thailand.

Beata holds a Master’s degree in finance and banking, which she has got while living in Poznan, Poland for 5 years. Having the knowledge of international sales, covering CEE, CIS and Russian markets, Beata successfully helps GBC producing quality events and great partner relations.

Elmira Gabidullina
Marketing Manager

Elmira is graduated in Philosophy from the University of Tomsk and made her career in media both as a journalist and PR specialist. She has been working in number of projects with many international organisations in countries of the former Soviet Union: IWPR, Reporters without borders, OSCE ODIHR, TRASECA and local inter-governmental and non-governmental institutions.

Although the oil and gas industry is rather a new sphere for application of her numerous talents, Elmira with zeal of a neophyte is working on establishing partnership with industry media and associations trying at the same time to balance professional activity with growing up two sons.

anastasiya-ovchinikova
Database Manager

Anastasija has graduated from the Vilnius University with the BA degree in English Philology. Started her career as a freelance translator and then decided to make a shift towards research. She has gained a solid experience researching and analysing various markets worldwide, conducting research for various organizations including General Electric, Autodesk, Bain & Company as well as local authorities.

Anastasija has joined GBC as a researcher in 2015, continuing her career in the sphere, as well as exploring the oil and gas industry. Now she holds the position of Database Manager overlooking all the database functions and contacts.

She enjoys spending her spare time actively, mostly cycling, bouldering or trying out new sports, however somehow most of her weekends are spent shopping.
