DIRECTOR OF NATURAL RESOURCES ADVISORY AT ING BANK WILL PRESENT ON THE OBROR PROJECT ESTIMATED AT $900 BILLIONS

Albrecht von Blumencron – Director for Natural Resources Advisory at ING Bank – one of the major financial groups in the world will present a paper on the ‘One Belt One Road Initiative’. The expert will speak about China’s plans for the development of this project and what impact this initiative might potentially have on the petrochemical sector in the CIS region.
The ‘One Belt One Road’ concept is an international China’s initiative aimed at improving existing and creating new trade routes, transport, and economic corridors connecting over 60 countries of Central Asia, Europe, and Africa. This initiative is meant to help develop trade relations between these countries and China.
Over a 100 countries and international organizations have expressed their readiness to support the initiative and to join. China has already signed cooperation agreements with more than 40 countries and international organizations.
Experts report that countries and regions along ‘One Belt One Road’ account for over 70% of all crude oil imported into China and more than 60% of imported natural gas. At the same time, these countries and regions are also the main importers of chemical fertilizers and natural rubber of Chinese origin.
