A UNIQUE LOGISTICS PROJECT FOR LARGE-SCALE EQUIPMENT DELIVERY: ZAPSIBNEFTEKHIM

Svetlana Ivashchenko – Head of Procurement and Logistics Directorate and Deputy General Director of Zapsibneftekhim will make a joint presentation along with Andrey Geykalo – Commercial Director of MAMMOET RUS – world flagman when it comes to transportation, shipping and lifting of extra-high-mass cargo.
They will share some exclusive information on how large-scale equipment is transported and installed on the SIBUR’s Zapsibneftekhim project, including lengthy travel of 62-meter long pyrolysis column from the port of South Korea to Tobolsk.
This equipment transportation operation will be the most unique in constructing similar plants due to complexity and logistics involved.
Zapsibneftekhim is to become the largest and most modern petrochemical complex in Russia. The Project will include construction of pyrolysis unit with the capacity of 1.5 million tons of ethylene, about 500,000 tons of propylene and 100,000 tons of butane-butylene fraction (BFF) per year, facilities for the production of various grades of polyethylene and polypropylene with a total capacity of 2 million tons per year.
