GAZPROM DOBYCHA ASTRAKHAN CONTINUES MODERNIZATION

Gazprom dobycha Astrakhan is the largest gas chemical complex in the South of Russia which produces 4 million tons of gas condensateevery year.
From 2007 to 2011, Gazprom invested 105 billion rubles in the modernization and expansion of its largest production in Astrakhan, of which about 78 billion rubles were actually used for technical modernization.
The company notes that in the near future the reconstruction of the enterprise a set of works is planned for various parts of the complex: the storage of liquefied hydrocarbon gases U-500, the block AT of the combined installation U-1.731, the block for the preparation of commercial products U-1.734 and the unit for the hydrotreatment of the diesel fraction. Completion of the construction of a hydrogen concentration unit and an automated gasoline mixing station is also planned.
In total, the expansion of Gazprom’s production should bring the Astrakhan region 400 billion rubles of investment and thousands of new jobs.
At the “CIS Petrochemicals” conference Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan will be represented by the Plant Director as well as the CTO – the head of the technological department.
