FROM ARTIFICIAL TO APPLIED

Artificial intelligence is considered the major driver of what’s known as the fourth industrial revolution however it is still not clear for many oil & gas professionals how it could be applied in “real world” operations: in the oilfield, at the refinery or on the offshore platform.
Nevertheless, the use of AI in the energy industry is evolving faster than most people realise.
On 7 June the discussion panel about using Big Data and AI to make decisions will cover its broader use and application in the industry as well as recent and upcoming developments.
Discussion will be led by:
Dr Irene J. Petrick, Director Industrial Innovation, Internet of Things Group (IOTG), Intel Corporation:
Anosh Thakkar, VP Digitalisation, CDO, Shell,
Jayanti Kar, Associate Partner, McKinsey & Company,
Casimir Wierzynski, Senior Director, Office of the CTO, AI Products Group, Intel Corporation
Anton Leemhuis, Director New Business Reservoir & Production Optimization, TNO
If you have ideas how the industry can benefit from AI or want to know more about it, join us on 7-8 June in Amsterdam!
