Gazprom Pererabotka has completed the consolidation of Gazprom’s processing assets. The process was launched as part of plans to improve the internal corporate structure for managing the activities of the gas monopoly.
Now, Gazprom Pererabotka controls the assets of the Astrakhan and Orenburg GPPs engaged in the processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, the Orenburg Helium Plant. Previously, they were managed by Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan and Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg.
The corporate publication of the company notes that the transition of the helium plant and the gas processing plant in Orenburg under the new management took place on November 1. “Both directors arrived at the plant the night before in order to sign the first organizational and administrative documents, inspect the process units, and communicate with the workers,” the publication clarifies.
Gazprom Pererabotka also remains a member of Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat LLC, which owns a large refinery, a gas chemical plant and a Monomer plant.
Taking into account the new branches in the Astrakhan and Orenburg regions, the total annual projected capacity of the Gazprom Refining production facilities will be 95 billion cubic meters of raw gas processing, 56 million tons of liquid hydrocarbon raw materials processing.
Currently, Gazprom Refining (a 100% subsidiary of Gazprom) carries out a full cycle of hydrocarbon processing and the production of more than one hundred petrochemical products. New types of products appeared in the company’s product portfolio: sulphur of various grades, liquid and gaseous helium, natural odorant, ethane fraction, fuel oil, as well as significantly increased production of all types of motor fuels, liquefied petroleum gases, and dry stripped gas. The number of staff is more than 34 thousand people.
