Gazprom is ready to invest 320bln roubles in Amur GPP

Gazprom intends to invest more than 300 billion roubles in the construction of the Amur Gas Processing Plant during 2019, follows from the presentation of the company to the Investor Day.

The total investment for the current year is planned at the level of 320 billion roubles.

According to Gazprom’s corporate edition, in 2018 the company planned to invest 89 billion roubles in the project. For 2016 and 2017, 187 billion roubles were spent on the project.

The project of the Amur GPP, according to the latest estimates, has risen in price to 950 billion roubles. At different time intervals, amounts of 670 and 791 billion roubles were called.

The first stage of the Amur gas processing plant (two production lines) should be commissioned in April 2021, starting from January 1, 2025, the gas processing plant is expected to reach its design capacity. The launch of the enterprise will allow annually producing up to 2.6 million tons of ethane, 1.6 million tons of liquefied hydrocarbon gases, up to 60 million cubic meters of helium and up to 38 billion cubic meters of marketable gas.
